I have now tried tons of different ginger beer syrups/concentrates, and just bottled ginger beer. This is (no questions asked) the best tasting and the spiciest I have tried. I recommend this to everyone I talk to who enjoys real genuine ginger beer.

I do not drink alcohol so my review is based on the flavor of Pickett's ginger beer on its own. I have had many different ginger beers and this is the best. Fever tree comes close but it doesn't have quite the kick or deep ginger flavor as does this Pickett's #3. Pickett's is all natural and that's also what I am looking for. No artificial flavors with weird after taste.
At times though I wish it were just a little bit less sweet.
But this stuff is great I have a glass of it with some club soda every night. Makes my stomach feel nice, warm and settled and I get that after burn in the throat which is the mark of a good ginger beer.

I do not drink alcohol but love ginger beer and that is how I
drink Pickett's. If a ginger beer is really any good you should be able to drink it by itself and and enjoy the flavor on its own you should not need to cover in fancy whisky with a high alcohol content. But if that's what you're after then you've got the best mixer for the best whisky.
I have only tried the #3 spicy, not interested in mild beer ginger that doesn't have enough real ginger taste to it. It has a nice spicy bite to it (the #3 spicy) and a real ginger flavor.
It appears to be all natural with no caramel color which is what I'm looking for.
One thing though is sometimes it taste just a little too sweet.
I also like Fever Tree's ginger beer, but the two are different in taste. As for which is better depends on my mood. But there are times I prefer the Pickett's.

I first tasted this syrup mixed with seltzer at the Lyons Distillery and immediately purchased some. Once I got it home I discovered that the spicy ginger syrup was fantastic in more than mixed drinks: in lemonade; in plain yogurt with berries; in baking homemade granola. It adds taste excitement, and is a must-have for ginger lovers.

Ever since I was introduced to Pickett's Hot 'n' Spicy Ginger beer concentrate, my Dark n Stormies have never been the same! Now, when I order them out at a bar I'm disappointed. Some Dark rum, some Pickett's and some club soda makes the best Dark n Stormy you will ever have!

I was introduced to their Hot n' Spicy concentrate at a small distillery in St. Michael's, MD and have been hooked ever since! Some dark rum (I bought the Lyon dark rum), Pickett's hot n spicy concentrate and club soda and it's magic! Of course, you have to like Ginger, but if you do, you will love this!

I use cold purified water, syrup and drop in 3-4 Reeds dried and sugared apocrypha ginger chunks and stirring. By the time you finish the drink the ginger at the bottom has rehydrayed and makes a great treat.

I love ginger and I love Pickett's hot and spicy ginger beer syrup.
In fact, I would like it to be even stronger.

We've purchased 5 bottles of the hot and spicy now since this past November. We discovered it at a local distillery in Maryland. It is by far the best ginger syrup we have ever had. The spice is wonderful and the flavor is bold. You don't need too much for the perfect beverage. My wife is pregnant and has been sipping it with soda water to settle her stomach. I've been killing bottles of the syrup and bourbon at a steady pace. It's also great with rum and soda water.
